Smallville fiction

Once upon a time, when Smallville originally exploded onto the fangirl scene, I was intrigued, and soon became a disciple of the Clex. I never quite could bear the teen high school hijinks of the show, however, so was never more than a passing fan, though I devoured the astonishing amounts of quality fic. I wrote a couple short stories and then moved on.

Four years later, I came back. With a vengeance.

Here there be slash, and lots of it. Everything here is Clark/Lex, unless otherwise marked; they are one of my ultimate OTPs, now and always.

Essays

In addition to the fic, since mainlining the show I've been meta-ing up a storm, with the help of my partner in crime Gnine. Enough so that we starting a livejournal community for Lex-apologists and other minions - lex_minions.

My Lex essays are collected here, and in order:

The Tragedy of Lex, Part I & Part II
5th Season Lex - the base of the Lex-nalysis, our interpretation of Lex's later-season motivation
Lex, the beginning of 6th season
Later 6th season: 33.1, "Static", "Freak", and Lex as protagonist.
Lex & morality - okay, fine, not the protagonist, but there are so many shades of gray...
So who is the hero, anyway?
On blaming Clark and Lionel's culpability
